What should I look for in a tent suitable for Australian camping?

March 28th, 2008 | by admin |
Nikita asked:

I want to buy a tent that is good for 2 people, with enough room to not be too squashed and be able to stand up to wind and rain, without being too expensive?

I want to be able to go to camping sites and music festivals.

What other accessories should I look at?

I would recommend waiting for a Kathmandu sale!
They have great stuff but it’s even greater when it’s half price!

There is a brand called North Face that makes great windproof tents but it may be a bit expensive to buy in Australia.

Oztrail is a good local brand.
