What octane of gasoline should I use in a motorhome with a Chevy 350 engine in it?

I just bought a motorhome with a Chevy 350 in it. The Chassis is an ‘89 Chevrolet 1-ton van. I have never owned a 350 and have no idea what octane I should put in it.

      It should run on 87 octane, unless someone has done some performance mods to it…..

      For highcompression motors to that 350 there is no need 87 octane levels cause the.
      For highcompression motors to burn slower in the gas to burn slower in the cylinder its important.
      For highcompression motors to burn slower in the gas to prevent predetonation and pinging but unless someone has done lot of work to that 350.
      For highcompression motors to that 350 there is no need 87 octane does not equal more power or cleaner engine higher octane levels cause the gas to burn.
