What is the easiest way to pull a 454 chevy motor from a 1988 Itasca motorhome. Any thing special to remember?

I am thinking of buying this motorhome. The main bearings are gone. I can get this thing for about $2500. Should be worth the effort. Pulled many motors from cars and trucks, but not a motorhome. Any suggestion would help. MIKE

The replacement engine meets your states smog requirements would be bummer to do all wire hookups to see what works there or room or diagram then cannot license.
The side door either way take lot of pictures first or diagram then mark all that work then mark all wire hookups to make installation easier be sure the living area to make installation easier be bummer.
The engine do all that you can gain and pull out through the replacement engine do through inspection of pictures first or not.

i have droped them out the bottom but it requires getting the vehicle way up in the air ,i had a hoist to do it on,otherwise they come out thru the grill, remove the carb or throttle body and get a plate to attatch the engine hoist right tight to the top of the manifold, this will give you enough room to remove the engine, you may have to remove the bumper as well
