What are the penalties for turning unpaid motor home back to the lendor?

May 5th, 2008 | by admin |
Nana asked:

We can not afford to keep our motor home - we owe more than it is worth - we need to know what the penalties would be to turn it back to the lendor - we would pay the difference in what they could sell it for and what we still owe on it. We do not want to stiff the lendor just get rid of the motor home. How do we do this? We do not want to end up with bad credit. We do not know the steps to take to do this. Anyone out there that has gone thru the same thing? We would appreciate any advice.
