I love Yusuf Islam a.k.a. Cat Stevens. His music is exquisitely moving and I will love it forever. And Harold and Maude was a GREAT soundtrack.

@themarycity I love punk, but if you look at some of that british punk music you can’t help but think “wow, these guys were not the on the brighter side.” Then we have people like ozzy; england produces its share of stupid people. Just the other day i saw a brit video of a lady pushing a car with her own because she got to the parking space faster. I mean come on,all these classic symptoms of rage & stupidity are reminiscent of the popular opinion of america. Stupid, petty people are everywhere.

@jimmymortis they act as if europe is flawless. I think they enjoy acting superior to ignorant, fat americans like us! hahaha because you know, we americans just don’t know anything!

he got a serious illness and found himself. same exact thing happened to me. it really opens your eyes when you spend time in a hospital and get out. inspiring to me. i don’t care that he converted to Islam, I think it’s great he found he’s spirituality. A lot of people don’t understand what it’s like to almost die at a young age.

What a great song ! I remember when the movie Harold and Maude came out with Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon. I went to see it just because Cat Stevens did the sound track. I’m Glad I went because of the sound track. The movie ended up being satiriacally bazzare and very funny. IT became a cult classic !
