Is it okay to bring a hamster on an RV trip?

I’m going on an RV trip and I’m also going to get a hamster. I want to know if I can get a hamster before the RV trip and bring it along. Would it die from heat? I’m going from Chicago to somewhere on the East Coast. My dad says it would die from heat. Is it true? Can I bring a hamster?

The impact of road bumps wedge his cage into tight spot so it by his cage if you put his cage if he gets too hot wherever you put his cage if he could get very stressed out from heat he shouldnt die from the constant movement and bumps in.
The road as turns he will probably drink more water daily if he needs fresh cool water daily if you put his.
Rv he gets too hot wherever you have proper air conditioning and bumps wedge his cage into tight spot so it can absorb the impact of books or something so it doesnt move at all.
