How do we break it to our grown children that we are going to start living and traveling in an RV in 2 years?

We want to retire early and travel across the country in an RV. Two of our grown children and their children live in this town, but one lives across the country and is having a child-this will enable us to see that family too, besides others and travel. We don’t know what the reaction will be.

      I should hope they’d be happy for you. I would let them know that you are excited about it and that you’ll keep in touch. You deserve to have your fun now that your kids are raised.

      Why are you scared of your kids?
      Tell them straight that you are going to spend their inheritance and enjoy life, you have earned it.
