spikey noodle asked:

I have an Adria Coral motorhome, purchased in March 2008. It lives on my drive. Want to close it up for the winter. Have drained the tank out but am just concearned that while drying out and unused mould could form. Anything I can do to stop this happening or what is recommended to clean it safely before next use? Have been all through user manuals and nothing!

If you use city water the chlorine in the water will prevent any contamination in the water tank and lines the same as in your house. After draining the water, the tank and water lines are still “sealed” from the air and environment so there isn’t much of a chance for mold contamination and growth. We have had several campers and are going on 10 years with current unit and have never had a problem. This coming spring just fill up the tank and run water through each faucet to re-sanitize the tank and lines.
