what do I have to watch for when I am buying a motor home to trailer horses?

Buddy asked: we are considering buying a motor home to pull a 3horse slant trailer... can a 24' motor home pull safely.. the trailer weighs about 4500 lbs and three horses at 3,000lbs probably looking at 7 - 8,000 lbs altogether.Question posted courtesy of: Jay
