      @zelenious - Alan took many of the Lyrics from “DARK ROAD” by Floyd Jones Recorded in 1953 at CHESS Records Chicago and that is why Alan credited Floyd on the Record Jones/Wilson - The Music is Pure Alan “The Blind Owl” Christie Wilson & CANNED HEAT.

      @HAAKIE48 Have you read Fito’s book? He says they went to Wilson when they needed a hit and he didn’t disappoint. As I recall Fito was talking about “Going Up the Country”.
