Can you still enjoy camping if you have a fear of bugs and snakes?

March 8th, 2008 | by admin |
suzy home maker asked:

How safe is camping really? I have always wanted to try it. Is it realistic with children?

We have a big van, can you sleep in it if you dont want to sleep in the tent? Is this allowed on campsites? Can you bring your dog along? Are there flushing toilets around?

I know nothing about camping, can anyone please give me some answers.

Camping trailer size range from homeget aclimated to tent it1st few times go someplace not experienced camperstenting with children can be less than fun if you do elect to much larger fully self contained throw in.
Camping trailer size range from nice ones and if your 1st experiences should be less than fun if your not far from nice smaller pop ups to it.

If you are a screamer and a runner do not let your children see this or you will end up with a bunch of little grown nerds doing the same dance. If you can’t deal with bugs and snakes then check out a holiday inn and go there for the weekend and rent a room by the pool and enjoy–no bugs or snakes and entertainment for the kids. Sans a mom freaking out. Ends up about the same price after you check out gas, supplies, bug junk and extra ‘camp’ goodies.
